Who we are

Information you provide

When you request a stay, we collect your name, email address, phone number if supplied, check-in and check-out dates, guest count, pet information and any message you include. We store the request, the itemized price quote shown to you, the request status, and any messages exchanged with the host about your stay. We do not require an account to request a stay.

How information is used

Your information is used to review and respond to your booking request, to coordinate an approved stay, and to keep accurate payment and refund records. Booking requests are reviewed manually by the host; submitting a request never charges a card. Booking details and messages are visible only to authorized host accounts and are never displayed in the public listing. We do not sell your information and do not use it for marketing lists.

Card payments

After the host approves a request, payments for the monthly rent and the refundable security deposit are made by card through Stripe's secure embedded payment form. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and are never seen or stored by this website. The site stores only payment identifiers, amounts, line items and payment or refund status. Your name, email and the amounts due are shared with Stripe to process the payment. Deposit refunds are issued by the host through Stripe after your stay.

Service providers & storage

Lovable provides website hosting and data storage, and Stripe processes card payments. Each provider handles your data only as needed to run this site and its payments. Host sign-in uses browser storage to maintain a session, and private payment links use an unguessable address tied to your booking; payment links should not be shared publicly, since anyone with the link can pay.

How long we keep information

Booking requests that are declined can be deleted on request. For completed stays, booking, message and payment records are kept as long as needed for reservations, accounting, dispute resolution, deposit refunds and legal or tax obligations.

Your choices & requests

You can ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete your booking request and messages. Email the host with your request and the name and dates on your booking, and we will respond. Some records may need to be retained for booking, payment or legal obligations.
